Blueberry Friends,
Blueberry season is here! Every year we are excited to see you and to bring you one of our favorite summer treats. Like past years we will provide the blueberries for $4 per lb. in 5 lbs. boxes This comes to $20 per 5 lbs. box.This year we will be stationed at Blueberry Bluff. This will make it easier for us to deliver to more people, as this year we are expecting to sell much more than previous years. There will also be almond flour. This will be sold at $5 per lb. in 4 lb. bags which comes to $20 per 4 lbs. bag.
There is one thing I would like to clarify regarding both these sales. The blueberries are being sold by Blueberry Bluff and the almond flour is being sold by Northside Food Inc. These companies are licensed to sell produce and to sell processed almonds. Nicki and I will be just the people who deliver them to you. We have agreed with both companies to be their representatives.
With that explained, there is an exciting feature to this year’s sale. This year the owners of the two companies are going to donate a large portion of the proceeds to Hickman Community Church for the new parking lot. For every 5 lbs. of blueberries, Blueberry Bluff will donate $5 dollars, for every 4 lbs. of almond flour Northside will donate $8. Both companies are very generous to offer these products. We could potentially collect thousands of dollars for the parking lot. Please order your blueberries through Google Forms. We are asking everyone to pick up their order at Blueberry Bluff on Saturday, June 3.
